And finally I have the cards made for this coming Stampin'Up workshop.
I hope you enjoy looking and get encouraged to come and make them. I meet with some very nice ladies on the second Tuesday of the month (.... most often the second) and make cards. A friend and I put together 5 awesome cards for $10, or the price is waived with a SU! order. We meet at the Hearts and Hands facility in midtown from 6.30 to 9.30.
So, here are my 3 cards for this month.

Enjoy life's simple pleasures!!
Until my next post, hugs.

Spring is in the air. I hear the birds singing right outside of my window!!

A hat for Joyce

This is a hat that I made for a friend who is being treated with radiation for brain cancer.

The flowers is a brooch that can be taken out and use in the jacket/shirt instead.
It has been good for me to spend time making a hat for this friend. We do not know when it might be too late to cherish our friends, our blessing.
May you have a day full of counted blessings!!
Until next post,
Hugs

A week alone with my boys

Well, my husband went to see a friend in Canada who is not surviving cancer, and some visiting with his family in OR, therefore you realized that I am alone with the boys for about 5 days by now.
It was a crazy week, taking the 3 of the boys to school every day at 7.50, coming home, for a couple of hours before I go down the hill again to get Benjamin, my 6 years old in half day kindergarten. Then up again, and care for my boys, the household stuff and an extra little one until 2.30 when I go down again to get the older boys and then run either to swimming lessons, piano, see a friend or a birthday party on Friday. Come home to make some dinner, get stuck in the driveway, cook lunches for an average of 40 people a day... !!!... our business.
On Wednesday, Benjamin got his left big toe smashed by the piano bench and it almost separate his whole nail from the toe. It bled for a long time, and it bled some more if it touch any thing. Very swelled, that he could not use shoes or go to school for the next two day, and had to be carried for a while.
Today, I took the boys to Costco and now that they are back are full of energy, running all over the house while I write. But now I am off to clean the house before we go and get my Darling Husband from the airport.
Until the next post, hope you have a sunny day.... oh before I leave, this funny joke the boys are passing around. "What do you call a dead blond in the closet..... Last year's hide and seek winner."
Have fun, and enjoy your present.
